Location and Character Reference
A strong sense of visual realism was key to pulling off TwoDays, I wanted to convince the audience that this story was taking place in a real city, and that it involved real people. It helps that Edinburgh is a very dramatic cityscape to start with. You can see some of the reference photos I took in the Windy City here.
In order to help visualise some of the of the more dramatic character poses, I also wound up using myself as a photo reference on several occasions. I am expecting calls from both the BAFTA awards board and the Marks and Spencers catalogue shortly...
