I moved down to Portsmouth in September ’05. I’ve got to say, the place has got a lot going for it, particularly in the summer, when the warm weather opens up a huge number of outdoor activities, from al fresco drinking in the Gunwharf bars, bbq’s on Southsea Common, to day trips to the Isle of Wight. I still can’t shake the feeling though, that it’s all a bit, well... phallic...
