Issue 4 came out in early 2002. This is the Big Action Issue, and as a result I think some readers feel it lacks the character driven storytelling of the other issues. It is one of my personal favourites though, just because plotting and drawing this much carnage was probably the most fun I had in the series. You can probably tell I was watching a lot of WWF at the time.
Upon reading this chapter, it becomes pretty clear that Agent Cherry and his special task force owe a debt of gratitude to Gary Busey's character in the movie 'Predator 2'. On the other hand, the gangster in the prologue, Gas, was inspired in equal parts by Chris Tarrant and Michael Caine in 'Get Carter'.
